HDPE yarn is made with the polyethylene. Polyethylene is the most commonly used plastic polymer in the world. HDPE is a semi-crystalline polymer with a repeating linear molecular structure - CH2-CH2- whose strength and toughness are enhanced prior to tensile fracture. In general, PE is a strong, lightweight thermoplastic material with excellent chemical resistance.
