Introduction

Copper-Infused Yarn is a medical-grade functional fiber that utilizes the natural oligodynamic effect of copper to provide permanent antimicrobial and antifungal protection. Unlike topical sprays, GC FIBER’s technology embeds sub-micron copper particles directly into the polymer melt (typically Nylon or Polyester). These ions penetrate the cell walls of bacteria and fungi, disrupting their DNA and preventing reproduction.
