Introduction

Copper-Infused Yarn is a medical-grade functional fiber that utilizes the natural oligodynamic effect of copper to provide permanent antimicrobial and antifungal protection. Unlike topical sprays, GC FIBER’s technology embeds sub-micron copper particles directly into the polymer melt (typically Nylon or Polyester). These ions penetrate the cell walls of bacteria and fungi, disrupting their DNA and preventing reproduction.

In 2025, this yarn has become the standard for "wellness" textiles. It is naturally deodorizing, as it kills the bacteria that cause odor from sweat. Furthermore, copper is known for its skin-health benefits, promoting collagen production and improving skin tone upon contact. Our copper-infused yarns are non-toxic, eco-friendly, and maintain 99.9% effectiveness even after 100 industrial washes.
