Introduction

Thermo-Regulating Yarn (Phase Change Material / PCM Yarn) is a "smart" fiber that actively manages the wearer's microclimate. Unlike standard insulation that merely traps heat, GC FIBER’s PCM yarn contains micro-encapsulated waxes that change their physical state (solid to liquid and vice versa) at specific temperatures. When the body overheats, the wax melts and absorbs excess heat; when the body cools down, the wax solidifies and releases that stored thermal energy back to the skin.

This "buffer effect" prevents the wearer from experiencing the "chill-and-sweat" cycle common in high-intensity sports. Our PCM yarns are engineered to be permanent; the micro-capsules are embedded deep within the polymer matrix, ensuring they cannot be washed out or crushed during mechanical processing. It is the ultimate solution for extreme-performance outdoor gear and year-round bedding.
