Application
Geotextile yarn is the raw material behind woven and nonwoven fabrics used across civil and environmental engineering projects, including:
- Road and railway construction: subgrade separation and reinforcement layers under pavement and rail bedding.
- Erosion control: riverbank, coastal, and slope protection fabric that holds soil in place while allowing water through.
- Drainage and filtration systems: fabric that filters fine soil particles while letting water pass, used around drainage pipes and retaining walls.
- Landfill and containment liners: protective and separation layers in landfill cap and liner systems.
- Agricultural and landscape fabric: ground stabilization and weed-barrier fabric for large-scale landscaping projects.
Advantage
- Engineering-grade consistency: tenacity and elongation are held within tight tolerances so fabric mills can meet project specification requirements reliably.
- Material choice for the job: PP for cost-effective separation/filtration, PET for higher-strength, lower-creep reinforcement applications.
- Long-term durability: good chemical and moisture resistance supports long service life in underground and exposed conditions.
- UV-stabilized options: formulations available for geotextile fabric that will be exposed to sunlight before being covered or buried.
- Factory-direct volume support: as the manufacturer, we can support the larger volumes typically required for infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
