Application
Binder yarn is blended into the fiber web rather than used alone, so it shows up across most thermal-bonded nonwoven product categories:
- Hygiene nonwovens: diaper topsheet, acquisition/distribution layers, and sanitary product components.
- Medical nonwovens: surgical gown, drape, and mask layer materials requiring adhesive-free bonding.
- Wipes and filtration media: wet wipes substrate and air/liquid filter layers needing stable, uniform bonding.
- Padding and insulation nonwovens: thermal-bonded wadding for bedding, garments, and automotive interior padding.
- Geotextile and construction nonwovens: bonded fiber layers used where chemical binders are undesirable.
Advantage
- Adhesive-free bonding: removes the need for chemical binders, which simplifies compliance for skin-contact and medical products.
- Matched to your bonding equipment: sheath melting point and ratio can be tuned to your hot-air oven, calender, or ultrasonic bonding setup.
- Stable core strength after bonding: the higher-melting core stays intact through the bonding process, protecting the fabric's overall tensile strength.
- Blend-ready format: supplied as staple fiber in standard bale packing so it can be opened, carded, and blended directly on existing nonwoven lines.
- Consistent bonding performance: as the manufacturer, we hold sheath thickness and melting point steady batch to batch, which keeps your bonding strength predictable order after order.
