Application
Tire cord and reinforcement yarn is the fiber backbone behind a range of rubber-reinforced industrial products:
- Passenger and light truck tires: body ply and cap ply reinforcement in radial tire construction.
- Truck, bus, and off-road tires: higher fatigue-resistance nylon cord used in carcass and belt layers under heavier load.
- Conveyor belts: internal fabric reinforcement layers giving belts their tensile strength and dimensional stability.
- Rubber hoses: braided or spiral reinforcement yarn inside hydraulic, industrial, and agricultural hose products.
- Molded rubber goods: reinforcement fabric or cord embedded in various technical rubber components.
Advantage
- High tenacity for structural reinforcement: yarn is spun and drawn to deliver the strength needed to reinforce rubber under continuous flex and load.
- Low, controlled shrinkage: shrinkage is managed closely so cord fabric dimensions stay stable through calendering and rubber vulcanization.
- Dipping-process compatibility: yarn finish is controlled to work reliably with standard RFL dipping systems for good rubber-to-fiber adhesion.
- Material matched to duty cycle: polyester for cost-efficient passenger tire applications, nylon for higher fatigue resistance in heavy-duty and high-temperature uses.
- Manufacturer-level quality control: as the producer, we can hold tight tolerances on denier, tenacity, and shrinkage across large production volumes.
