Introduction

Microfiber Yarn is defined by its extreme fineness, with filaments measuring less than 1.0 denier per filament (dpf)—finer than a human hair or a strand of silk. GC FIBER produces these ultra-fine filaments using advanced melt-spinning technology, often utilizing a "Sea-Island" or "Pie-Wedge" bi-component structure that is split during finishing. This results in a massive increase in fiber surface area, allowing the yarn to trap microscopic particles, absorb vast amounts of moisture, and provide an incredibly soft, "peach-skin" texture.

Our microfiber range is engineered for both performance and luxury. In industrial cleaning, the split fibers act as microscopic "scrapers" that lift oils and bacteria without chemical agents. In fashion, the high density of filaments creates a wind-resistant yet breathable barrier.
