polyester draw textured yarn

Introduction

Polyester draw textured yarn is produced from polyester POY in one continuous operation. The yarn is drawn to its final strength, twisted and heat-set by false twist, then untwisted, which leaves a permanent crimp. The result is the familiar DTY with bulk, stretch and a soft surface.

Its properties depend on both the POY and the texturing settings: draw ratio, heater temperature and twist level shape the final stretch, shrinkage and hand. We choose POY and settings by end use, whether that is high-stretch knit apparel or firmer woven weft.

We supply knitting and weaving mills, hosiery makers and traders. Standard counts are available, and we make custom specifications by order, with OEM service for denier, filament count, luster, intermingle, color and shrinkage.

Application

Draw textured yarn is chosen for its balance of stretch, strength and price. Typical uses are:

Payment terms

  • T/T (bank transfer) is our standard method; L/C at sight is accepted for qualified orders.

  • Deposit and balance terms are written into the quotation, so there are no surprises at shipment.

  • Sample orders can be settled by bank transfer or other methods we agree on with you.

Shipping and lead time

  • Goods ship from our factory base in Haian, Nantong, Jiangsu, with Shanghai seaport as the usual port of loading.

  • Sea freight for production quantities, express (DHL, FedEx, UPS) or air freight for samples and urgent lots.

  • Trade terms such as EXW, FOB Shanghai and CIF can be quoted according to your forwarder setup.

  • Texturing is run by order for custom counts, so lead time depends on count, color and quantity and is stated in the quotation.

  • Export packing is done in cartons on pallets, with labels showing denier, lot number and net weight.

  • Q: Do you provide dope-dyed or recycled DTY?

  • A: Both can be discussed on request. Please share shade, certification needs and quantity so we can quote correctly.
