Introduction

Dope dyed polyester filament yarn, also called spun-dyed, solution-dyed or mass-dyed yarn, is colored in the melt. Pigment masterbatch is added to the polyester before extrusion, so the color sits inside each filament instead of on its surface.

This gives high color fastness and removes the yarn dyeing step, which means less water, fewer chemicals and less energy in the dye house. The trade-off is flexibility: a shade is fixed once spun, so buyers plan colors in advance and order by shade.

Payment terms

  • T/T (bank transfer) is our standard method; L/C at sight is accepted for qualified orders.

  • Deposit and balance terms are written into the quotation, so there are no surprises at shipment.

  • Sample orders can be settled by bank transfer or other methods we agree on with you.

Shipping and lead time

  • Goods ship from our factory base in Haian, Nantong, Jiangsu, with Shanghai seaport as the usual port of loading.

  • Sea freight for production quantities, express (DHL, FedEx, UPS) or air freight for samples and urgent lots.

  • Trade terms such as EXW, FOB Shanghai and CIF can be quoted according to your forwarder setup.

  • Dope-dyed yarn is produced by shade, so lead time depends on color approval, count and quantity, and is stated in the quotation.

  • Export packing is done in cartons on pallets, with labels showing denier, lot number and net weight.

  • Q: Is there a minimum order per color?

  • A: Each color is produced by shade, so a quantity per shade applies. We state it in the quotation.

  • Q: Is dope dyed available in FDY, DTY and POY?

  • A: Yes, all three. Tell us your count and use and we will recommend a type.
